European NGOs are not afraid of the Internet. Quite the contrary – they perfectly know, that the Internet creates new, great opportunities for social actions, so it’s worth to take the chance and make use of it.


‘Discover e-volunteering’ grant competition was designed especially to support such NGOs from all over Europe. Moreover, it’s 3rd edition proved, that there are plenty of great Internet-based projects’ ideas waiting for the implementation. The International Selection Committee has chosen 10 out of them.


Meet Finalists of the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ grant competition:

- The Association for the Promotion of Quality Education for Youth with Disability «IMAGINE», Preparation for youth with disability to pass the state graduation exams (Croatia)
- Ratiu Center for Democracy, TURDA- missing pieces (Romania)
- International Young Naturefriends, Ecomaps (Czech Republic)
- Fundacja Wchodzę w To, The Track Without Barriers (Poland)
- Istraži Me - Psihološka udruga za istraživanje educiranje i savjetovanje, Istraži Me - istražite svijet psihologije (Croatia)
- Prison Fellowship Bulgaria, E- Community of Restoration (Bulgaria)
- Fundacja Kuźnia Inspiracji, Travelling Parents—Mapping Family Friendly Places Across Poland (Poland)
- CityBugs, CityBugs (Armenia)


Now Finalists have the opportunity to win a 2000 euro grant for making their ideas come true!


What are the next steps of the Competition?

1. Finalists will be invited to take part in workshop session, that will take part in November 13th - 14th, 2014 in Warsaw, Poland. During the workshops, they will have the opprtunity to improve their ideas of e-volunteering projects and receive precious advices from experts.

2. Then, Finalists will be asked to rework their ideas and submit the longer version of the application form until November 30th, 2014.

3. In December, International Selection Committee will choose 3 best ideas, that will receive a grant for the implementation.

4. Moreover, in December, there will be also an open voting on Facebook - a Facebook community will choose one winner, who will also receive a grant!
